    Despite the reviews, I was a little skeptical about just how good a little gizmo like this could sound. I just received my Veho360 today, paired it with my EVO phone and am totally blow away. This thing is incredible. Well worth $25 for a small, wireless speaker you can pop in your pocket, hide under your pillow or use on your desk. I’d give the Veho360 10 stars if I could.

    Keep in mind this is a $30 product. The star rating is based upon “bang for the buck”.

    It’s small, yet it is reasonably loud. Perfect for in the kitchen or working around the house. The battery life is at least three hours, it still hasn’t run dry yet. I wouldn’t try to use it at a party or anything.

    The reason I purchased it was to function as a small, portable speaker that my wife could use with her ipad, my iphone, her droid, etc. It fits the bill perfectly, and satisfied her as far as audio quality.

    My only criticism is that they only supply a USB cable as a charger. It works, but it would be nice to be able to plug it into a regular power receptacle…an adapter which they sell separately. But this isn’t enough that I think it shouldn’t still get five stars, especially in light of it costing $30.

    Side notes:

    I’m still not sure but someone mentioned elsewhere that the red light doesn’t go out when it’s done charging. I’ve only had this product a day and only have charged it once, but I could have sworn when I initially charged it the light was orange and then went red. I’m charging it now a second time to confirm.

    Volume adjust is controlled from the master device to which it’s paired. Not from the speaker.

    After having this unit for a week I am fully impressed. For its small size it has amazing output. I’ve tried it on all of my electronics – iPod, iPad, PCs, TV, etc. And it is truly impressive. I even tried adding paper tubes to it to try and simulate car sound systems. It didn’t improve the already well engineered unit. Wow!

    You can use the Bluetooth or a direct connect cable supplied with the unit to use the unit. For a small plastic can it’s an amazing product.

    Obviously I love the device.
