The AM40 side clamping bookshelf speaker wall mount has been designed for traditional wood cabinet bookshelf style speakers that
were not provide with a standard mounting point by the manufacturer. Using a solid platform with side clamps, the AM40 offers a 90
degree swivel, 7 degree tilt and can support a speaker 5.5″ to 11″ wide, up to 13″ deep and a maximum of 50 lbs. Side clamps have

I already had 2 sets of the Btech B77 and loved em, but couldn’t find another. It looks like the AM40 might just be the same thing renamed. I ordered them and can’t tell the difference.
These mounts look great and are rock solid. The clamp is strong enough to hold my surrounds without any screws. I was nervous about my Front Right and Left, and screwed those in. These look great and work great. I’d recommend to anyone doing a wall mounted speaker setup.

|Pinpoint AM40,
Purchased for my bookshelf right and left side surround speakers to be mounted in my basement. Installation and instruction were very easy to follow. The plates provided are pretty solid, but I have a complaint about the mounting screws. Two of the screw points were so close to the speaker boom that it made it difficult to screw into the wall stud. I predrilled beforehand but these two screws nearly stripped. Wish the speaker wires were able to run through the mounting unit, but it’s not a big deal. I also wish the angle could be larger so they could angle down better.
Overall, wonderful way to support my two speakers, very solid. My speakers weigh probably about 8-10 lbs. The tension system to hold the speaker is awesome, didn’t need to screw into my speakers. The minor complaints kept this from being a 5 out of 5 rating. Sorry, I’m picky.

|Solid Easy to Hang Speaker Mounts,
I debated new cube speakers or mounting my larger bookshelf speakers. In looking through shelves or mounts, I chose mounts for configurable direction and sturdiness. I was very pleased with these. The vertical bracket has 4 screws provided so you simply find the stud, vertically level, and screw in the bracket. The speaker holder has an ingenious clamp system that securely holds a speaker up to 11″ wide. I can’t imagine a better mount. It did take me awhile to make sure there were 2 mounts before ordering which there are (for a pair). Good luck.
